Ashley Fox

Ashley Fox 270x270Ashley M. Fox, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Evidence and Policy at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where among other topics her research focuses on diabetes prevention and health disparities in East Harlem. She was previously an Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) Fellow in the Division of Health Policy and Administration at Yale University’ School of Public Health and a fellow in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard School of Public Health. She received her Ph.D. in Public Health and Political Science from the Department of Sociomedical Sciences at Columbia University and holds an MA and BA in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on the politics of health policy, health inequalities, public attitudes towards health reform and the impacts of policy on health outcomes.
