Brianna Moody is an undergraduate student at Tufts University where she studies Community Health and American Studies with a focus on comparative race and ethnicity. Brianna joined the Connecticut Health Foundation in 2013 as the foundation’s policy and communications intern where she received an introduction to the health communications world. She continues her communications work as a media assistant at Tufts. Brianna is a spoken word poet and a reading and writing tutor. She is a teaching assistant in the Tufts American Studies department. Brianna spent six months studying nutrition and public health in Chile at Universidad de Chile and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
No stranger to the injustices that plague our health system, Brianna values what her community has taught her and hopes to carry forth, apply and share that knowledge for the greater purpose of promoting health justice.
