CT Health is pleased to release a new funding opportunity to integrate policy research with health advocacy.
Funds will be available to promote the generation of nonprofit organization-initiated health policy research that will yield data, analysis, and/or recommendations that will be used to accomplish the following:
- advance the policy agenda or advocacy strategy of the grantee organization
- inform CT Health’s strategic goals and objectives (see appendix of full RFP)
- inform state or local advocates and decision-makers working on related issues.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is open to Connecticut, regional, and national nonprofit organizations that can demonstrate that research findings and advocacy efforts will be used to improve the health of Connecticut residents. The foundation anticipates making up to four (4) grants of up to $50,000 each. The grant period is 18 months to allow for the completion of quality research followed by action-oriented dissemination and advocacy during upcoming local, state, and federal election seasons and legislative sessions.
