Public Hearing for a Healthier Connecticut

Small businesses are an integral part of our economic success here in Connecticut. However, small businesses now more than ever are struggling to stay afloat while trying to access affordable healthcare for their employees.

On Tuesday, March 13th, the State Insurance Committee held a public hearing on  the Small Business Healthcare Bill (HB5487). The bill permits small businesses, with less than 50 employees to purchase health insurance through the state employee plan.
